Every week I ask in my Instagram stories for ORM follower suggestions on what I should style next. Each week, one of those suggestions is picked at random and then I get to styling and sharing each Sunday! Hence the tag #ORMStyleMeSunday This week did not disappoint when the suggestion of Wedge Espadrilles was entered and then selected. Nothing says spring and summer are here to stay to me more than an espadrille style shoe and a good stripe (you'll see both pictured here!)
What's great about this style of shoe is that it comes in many styles, colors, heel heights, widths, and price points. I've tried to keep all of that in mind while shopping for items this week.
Today's look is a combination of options put together pulled from the ORMSpring21 Capsule and the ORMSpring21Workwear Capsule. This look is very versatile. Depending on what items you picked from the linked options in each of the capsules, you could dress this up for a full workwear look by swapping out the jeans and switching them to a white or navy pair of slacks or skirt. Or you could dress it down by removing the blazer and wearing a cardigan in navy or a contrasting color, a cropped light wash or white jean jacket, or have no topper at all. You'll also see I kept the accessories simple for this one. A bit of a nod to a classic timeless look. To dress the accessories up for work, you could do a drop pearl earring and stack of gold bracelets. And to dress it down, you could take the scarf off the bag and tie it in your hair or around your wrist! You may also want to switch to a smaller crossbody bag rather than the larger tote. That's the great thing about these outfits and partnering the 2 capsules together - they truly are mix and match!
